Take Osprey Beyond the Bay—Ocean City's Only Open-Ocean JetBoat Experience!

Think the bay rides are wild? Wait until Osprey hits the Atlantic. This trip takes everything you love about our Eco-Adrenaline tours—the speed, the spins, the scenery—and puts you out on the open ocean. It's the most exhilarating ride in our lineup, and Ocean City's only JetBoat experience that ventures past the inlet and into the big blue.

Once we clear the Route 50 bridge and the OC Inlet, our captain will open Osprey up for high-speed runs along the coastline, with sweeping views of the Ocean City skyline you simply can't get from the beach. We'll be on the lookout for dolphins, sea birds, and anything else the Atlantic throws our way. Expect 2–3 of Osprey's signature high-speed spins out here on the open water.

This is our most weather-dependent trip—we only run it when the ocean is calm and flat. When conditions cooperate, it's absolutely unforgettable. When the ocean says no, we'll reroute to one of our bay routes so you still get an incredible ride.

Same rules apply: if you wouldn't get on a roller coaster, don't get on Osprey. Guests with back issues, heart conditions, or those who may be pregnant should sit this one out. Minimum height requirement of 42" for all youth.

What to Expect

This trip is approximately 40 minutes in duration and ventures out of the OC Inlet into the Atlantic Ocean when conditions are calm. If the ocean is not flat enough for a safe, fun ride, the captain may reroute to a bay-based route—you'll still get a fantastic experience.

All Osprey Eco-Adrenaline tours depart promptly at their scheduled time from our downtown location at 307 Dorchester Street. Same red JetBoat, same OC Bay Hopper HQ for tickets and check-in.

Lifejackets are required for all children under 13, in addition to the USCG-required Type 1 lifejackets available on board. You will get wet on this one—ocean spray is part of the deal. Dress accordingly.

Seating is assigned on a first-booked, first-seated basis. A completed waiver is required prior to boarding.

TRIP MINIMUM – Please be aware that we cannot offer this trip if fewer than 6 people in total book for the occasion. We will notify you at least one hour before departure if we have not reached the minimum and offer to refund or rebook you on to another trip.

Aligned with the goal of ensuring all Osprey customers have a great experience, we will only run trips that are deemed safe by our Captains. Generally, the weather on the coast of the Ocean City area is very pleasant but sometimes storms and thunderstorms do occur.

In the event that your trip is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Sometimes, the weather conditions, particularly high winds causing choppy seas, will allow us to run a safe trip that is a bit unpleasant.

Our captains will always strive to let people know when conditions will be less than ideal and if conditions warrant a possible refund you may choose to not take the trip. (But sometimes those rough passages make for the best experiences!)
