Ready to trade lazy beach lounging for full-throttle thrills? Meet Osprey—a New Zealand-style JetBoat and the newest, boldest addition to the OC Bay Hopper fleet. This isn't your average boat ride... it's a one-of-a-kind, high-octane Eco-Adrenaline experience that's unlike anything else in Ocean City!
What makes Osprey so special? For starters, it's built with a sleek hull and a jet drive powered by twin turbo diesel engines—designed to fly across shallow water and execute wild spins, sharp turns, and high-speed maneuvers that'll leave your heart pounding and your hair absolutely destroyed (in the best way). And unlike other JetBoats that just zip out into the ocean in a straight line—yawn—Osprey plays in the twists and turns of Assawoman Bay. Think: roller coaster meets nature cruise. Yes, seatbelts are required. No, your sunglasses probably won't stay on.
During this 45-minute adventure, you'll scream, laugh, and gasp your way past stunning coastal scenery, catch sight of our boat's namesake—the majestic osprey—and if we're lucky, spot wild ponies, dolphins, and all kinds of feathered locals along the way. (We can't guarantee wildlife, but we'll definitely keep our eyes peeled and our binoculars handy.)
And it's not just thrills—our captains double as expert guides, sharing stories and facts about the local ecosystem at a few calm spots during the ride (you'll want a breather anyway). Depending on weather and boat traffic, we aim to sneak in 2–3 of Osprey's signature high-speed spins each trip. Safety, of course, is always priority number one.
Heads-up thrill seekers: This ride isn't for everyone. If you wouldn't go on a roller coaster, you definitely shouldn't go on Osprey. Guests with back issues, heart conditions, or those who may be pregnant should sit this one out. And all kids must be at least 42" tall to ride.

Do You Like Your Sunsets with a Bit of Spice?
Join us for an Eco-Adrenaline tour the likes of which Ocean City has not seen in some time! Climb aboard Osprey—the newest addition to our OC Bay Hopper fleet—and take a fun trip around Assateague Island and the Coastal Bays behind Ocean City, Maryland. For this trip, we'll skip the high-speed spins and, depending on the weather, make much more of an effort to take Osprey out into the Atlantic Ocean, looking for dolphins. This will be weather dependent!
Osprey is a Jet Boat, fitted out with the combination of jet drive and twin turbo diesel engines and a hull that supports fast running in shallow water! Throughout your 60-minute trip, you will be dazzled by the beautiful, natural scenery of our Coastal Bays and watch the sun melt into the marsh—your pictures will be fantastic!
And our staff will make sure that you see our boat's namesake, the majestic osprey (and possibly a large number of other birds, the famous Assateague ponies, and maybe some bay-swimming dolphins—we'll look, but nature can be unpredictable!)
All of our captains are trained to be guides with a deep knowledge of the area, so you will learn about our ecosystem with several stops throughout the tour.
Please note: Although our Sunset Trip on Osprey is the most "chill" way to enjoy this speedboat, it is not for everyone. This experience includes high-speed maneuvers that are not suitable for folks with back problems, heart problems, and anyone that could be pregnant. Our waiver will make this very explicit—it is up to you to decide whether you are a good candidate for this kind of thrill ride. (If you would not get on a roller coaster, then don't get on Osprey!)
Additionally, there is a minimum height requirement of 42" for all youth.

Take Osprey Beyond the Bay—Ocean City's Only Open-Ocean JetBoat Experience!
Think the bay rides are wild? Wait until Osprey hits the Atlantic. This trip takes everything you love about our Eco-Adrenaline tours—the speed, the spins, the scenery—and puts you out on the open ocean. It's the most exhilarating ride in our lineup, and Ocean City's only JetBoat experience that ventures past the inlet and into the big blue.
Once we clear the Route 50 bridge and the OC Inlet, our captain will open Osprey up for high-speed runs along the coastline, with sweeping views of the Ocean City skyline you simply can't get from the beach. We'll be on the lookout for dolphins, sea birds, and anything else the Atlantic throws our way. Expect 2–3 of Osprey's signature high-speed spins out here on the open water.
This is our most weather-dependent trip—we only run it when the ocean is calm and flat. When conditions cooperate, it's absolutely unforgettable. When the ocean says no, we'll reroute to one of our bay routes so you still get an incredible ride.
